The Highlands  

The Highlands, located in the rolling hills of southeast Lakeland, is a group of subdivisions constructed from the 1990's to the present and ranging in size from 15 to 150 home sites. These mostly gated communities with deed restrictions, have excellent access to the Polk Parkway and nearby community schools.

The Christina Area features several square miles of various priced homes located south of 540A and east of South Florida Ave. Christina Boulevard with 3 entrances winds past more than a dozen popular neighborhoods. Lake Hollingsworth  

The Lake Hollingsworth Area features various priced homes constructed from the 1920's to the present. Prices range from the low 200's for small bungalows to well over a million for homes on the Lake and other prestigious streets in this established neighborhood of unique and upscale homes.

Historic Lake Morton  

The Lake Morton Historic District stretches from Florida Southern College towards downtown. This is an area enjoying renewed interest and renovation of many fine older homes. Southwest Lakeland


Several popular neighborhoods are located south of the Polk Parkway, west of South Florida Ave. This area of Lakeland has a more rural feel with neighborhoods resting in oak hammocks offering a forest like setting and surrounded by large horse ranches, farms, and properties with acreage. Yates Road boasts the newest southside elementary school with new middle and high schools under construction to serve this booming area.
